Gantatello explores the space between ego and creation. El Gant stands grounded while his reflection appears inverted—seen by the viewer, not himself—distorting identity and control. Only his shoes break the reflection, anchoring him in reality.

In the water, his face becomes an open portal with birds in flight, symbolizing creative freedom unlocked when ego steps aside. Behind him, a Brooklyn skyline and storm-cleared sky mark clarity on the other side of OSLO. The beauty lives in simplicity, and in making the work without fear.
